Parents Overview
On behalf of the Parents' Club, welcome to the Catherine McAuley family. As the parent or guardian of a McAuley student, you are an important part of the community! The mission of the Parents' Club is to:
- Support the Catherine McAuley’s mission to inspire and guide students to reach their highest potential in mind, body, and spirit.
- Maintain a communicative and compatible working relationship between parents, faculty, the administration and trustees.
- Enhance the curricular and co-curricular activities of the students and faculty.
One truly wonderful thing about McAuley parents is their willingness to help out in any way they can. Through the Parents' Club, there are many opportunities to get involved at McAuley, each requiring varying degrees of time commitment, assuring everyone a way of supporting our students and the school. The Parents Club helps with organizing parent gatherings, such as parent/daughter mass and social, helping with the Parents' Forum for the Accepted Student Night, and assisting at our open houses at the Catherine McAuley HS. Club members also work with McAuley staff to organize activities for students, including the annual Homecoming Weekend.
Each parent or guardian of a McAuley student is a member of the Parents' Club. The Club meets once a month on campus and all parents are invited to attend these meetings, the dates and times of which are included in our monthly newsletter and on the school website. These business meetings are held as a venue for the Elected Officers and interested parents to discuss current activities and plan for future needs and events.
Elections for the following school year are held by ballot in May.
The Parents’ Club is as strong and talented as the time and energy given to it by its many members. We look forward to meeting you throughout the year. We are eager for you to attend the Parents’ Clubs meetings, and encourage you to contribute your energy and ideas to the Club’s efforts. Working together as parents for Catherine McAuley students is very rewarding, and we encourage you to become involved!
